Selling
Selling your home when life is changing.
Rightsizing, settling a parent's trust, or starting over after divorce. You get a clear plan, real advice on what to fix and what to skip, and steady support from the first walk-through until long after closing.
Rightsizing: moving to the home that fits now
Life changes, and so does the home that fits it. Maybe you want something easier to keep up, closer to family, or a community with more support. Maybe your family is growing, or parents, kids and grandparents want to live under one roof. The hard part usually isn't the sale. It's knowing where you'll land.
If you're moving somewhere smaller, I've toured assisted, independent and memory care communities in Modesto. If you need more room, we plan the sale and the purchase together. Either way, we go at a pace you're comfortable with.
Selling a parent's home held in a trust
If you're the successor trustee or one of the kids, you're grieving and handling decisions at the same time. Siblings, an attorney, a CPA, and a house full of memories.
I've guided several trust sales, including my own parents' home after my mom passed in December 2025, so I know this from the family's side. I handle the real estate and work alongside your attorney and CPA. I don't give legal or tax advice.
What I help with:
- Walking the home and deciding what to fix and what to sell as it is
- Trusted pros for repairs, painting and flooring
- Clear updates for the trustee, and for the family when the trustee wants
- Working with the trustee, the attorney and escrow through closing
Selling during a divorce
When a marriage ends, the house is often the biggest thing left to decide. I stay neutral, work with both of you, and share only what the sale needs.
Buyer's agents and neighbors never need to know why the house is for sale, so no one can use it against you. I work alongside your attorneys or mediator and keep things calm.

Market, show and negotiate
You always know what's happening, what it means, and what comes next.
Closing, and after
I'm still your person after closing: vendors, advice and your next move.
It was a roller coaster ride for over 8 months deciding if we should sell or not until we met Rebeca who went above and beyond to give us advice and allow our family to make a fresh start in life. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the local market and provided valuable insights that helped us price our house competitively.
Questions I hear
Do I have to fix everything before I sell my house?
No. Rebeca Gamon recommends fixing what matters to buyers and skipping what doesn't. She walks the home with you, tells you what's worth doing, and connects you with trusted pros to do it.
How does Rebeca Gamon decide on a list price?
She shows you three pricing options based on recent nearby sales: one that tests the top of the market, one at market value, and one priced to draw several offers. She explains the tradeoffs of each, and you choose.
Can you help me sell a parent's home held in a trust?
Yes. Rebeca Gamon has guided several trust sales, including her own parents' home. Questions about the trust itself go to your trust attorney. Once the trustee is ready, Rebeca handles the real estate side: prep, pricing, marketing and closing.
My parent is moving to assisted living. Can you help with the house?
Yes. Rebeca Gamon has toured assisted, independent and memory care communities in Modesto and helps families plan the move and the home sale together.
Can I sell my home in Modesto or Stockton working in Spanish?
Yes. Rebeca Gamon is fully fluent in Spanish and can handle your whole sale in Spanish, from the first conversation to closing.
